Monsoon Season in the Southwest For the second year in a row, I celebrated my birthday with dear friends in the desert. Later, I explored southeast Utah for the first time in 21 years. Upon my return, our southwestern monsoon season began in earnest, blessing us with rain, cool nights, and drama in the skies.
