			Shared Beliefs Our knowledge includes what we've experienced or learned firsthand, plus what we've heard, overheard, or read about. Our knowledge may be shared, or it may be private, or even held in secret. We may or may not understand it. We may or may not even believe it. When we say we believe something, it means we feel that it accurately describes reality: the way things are, the way they work.
